Writing Project teachers created and developed this site to be a space where teachers can further collaborate in their attempts to understand the ways in which technology (and various technological tools) serve as disruptive technologies. In other words, how has our way of working and reading the world changed as a result of technological developments and opportunities?

The Disruptive technologies wickicity exists to provide a home for communities of practice. Procedurally, individuals within a community of practice work together to create and shape knowledge. In this process, they represent themselves and their work which includes, but is not limited to: their own classroom practice, their roles with other institutions (e.g., a school, a professional organization) and their roles with other networks (e.g., teacher inquiry groups, book clubs).
